I was trying to pick a place to visit after a work trip to London and thought…I wonder if Kati and Sabrina have any routes nearby? You did not disappoint! Just booked my trip to Brighton and will be doing this walk in March (fingers crossed for the weather). Thanks for continuing to inspire my travels!

It’s a lovely local walk for me. There’s also a cafe, toilets, and visitors centre across the road from the Cuckmere Inn.

Walked from Seaford to Belle Tout Lighthouse and then back to Seaford. It’s a great walk with 1 or 2 steep climbs and a handy ice cream van at Birling Gap. Crossed the river at low tide going out and by the time I returned it was knee deep and you could feel the current by the bank. Recommend a pair of flip flops or crocs for the crossing.

There is a toilet at South Hill Barn as well it’s a short detour off the coastal path but very easy to rejoin it

As you walk along the golf course cliff path up from the beach in seaford we took a slight detour away from the cliff. We followed the fence round the sheep field to the big barn and found a lovely coffee bar at South Hill Barn. Delicious food and fresh coffee and a toilet. Cottons coffee bar. Also some locals told us only to cross the river at low tide because of the dangerous currents. Such a beautiful walk. Stunning views. Thank you
